Hi,
Try Link Converter by going to Dashboard -> Auto Amazon Links -> Tools -> Link Converter and turn it on.
If the Amazon links are not in comments or post contents, you have to find the filter hook and set it to the Custom Filter Hooks
option.
Hey Thanks FOr Quick Help Links are in the post content i made the required changes but the links are still the same didnt include my affiliate id
Make sure you enter your associate ID in the Associates screen (Settings -> Associates).
Yes i Did but still not able to see any changes in links
Not sure. Can you test creating a new post and paste an Amazon URL in it and see if your Associates ID gets inserted?
articles previously contain affiliate id maybe that’s what causing the problem actually i want to use my affiliate id instead of the old id which is owned by previous admin currently the links look like this ( https://www.amazon.com/ninja-personal-countertop-1200-watt-bl642/dp/b00ngv4e1g/ref=sr_1_5&ref_title=b00ngv4e1g ) it doesn’t contain my affiliate id. is it possible that all the links use my id and update/remove the previous id
It should be possible unless the links are not dynamically generated. Have you tested what I suggested in the last reply?
yes i test its working on new links but not working on the links already posted
Can you try the development version 4.7.10b03? It has a new option named Hook Priority
in the Link Converter
section. Increase the value to something very large such as 9223372036854775806
then see if the links get converted. If yes, decrease the value to 10000
, 1000
, 100
, 50
, and 20
and see when it starts not working.
If your old links are generated by JavaScript, this will not work by the way.
