[Resolved] Replace Open Maps with Google Maps

  • You can simply embed Google maps within your post and not use the Aesop built-in map feature. There’s a nice how-to article about using Google maps in WordPress at http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-add-google-maps-in-wordpress/

    Hope that helps!

Thanks, but not what I’m wanting. I’d like to use the functionality already setup with AESOP, just not with open maps as they have many lacking features, terrible looking interface, and people are more use to Google Maps than anything else.

There is no way to “switch out” the maps. If you’d like to use Google Maps, then you can embed one onto a page.

Just a little side info, we’re not using Open Maps for the map functionality, were using Leaflet.js. Open Maps only provides the map tiles. Map tiles are provided through Mapbox.
