When I try to replace an existing PDF, the page refreshes to a 500 Internal Server Error…

    Login file says:
[15-Sep-2021 10:21:39 UTC] PHP Deprecated: Array and string offset access syntax with curly braces is deprecated in /.../wp-content/plugins/VC_Modal_Popup/admin/bsf-core/auto-update/admin-functions.php on line 13

Is this plugin using VC_Modal_Popup for something during this operation?

    WP version: 5.8.1
    Plugin version: 3.5.0

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. WP Admin > Media Library > search for media to replace
    2. Hover over media to replace > click “Replace Media”
    3. Page refreshes to “Replace Media Upload” page
    4. Browse to select new version of media
    5. New media appears beside old media
    6. Replacement Options > Just replace the file
    7. Date Options > Replace the date
    8. Click Upload button

    Expected behavior:

    • New media asset successfully uploads, replacing the old media asset

    Actual behavior:

    • Page refreshes, displaying a 500 Internal Server Error

    Appreciate any suggestions…

    Hi Aaron!

The error is coming from the plugin VC_Modal_Popup, so I recommend you to contact their support team. From our side, our plugin is not using VC_Modal_Popup for any reason.

    Thank you!

    Hmm, okay, thanks…

Not sure how these could be related, but needed a solution fast, so, switched plugins… :-/

    Thanks anyway.
