# replace media on upload

 * Hi,
 * I am not sure if this is the right place to ask this question.
 * We have a lot of pictures in the media library. Some we want to replace with 
   new pictures. Now I am looking for a way to do this in bulk. The new images will
   have the same name. When I upload a new image, WordPress will extend the name
   with “-1”.
    What I am looking for is a copy/replace function like Windows Explorer
   🙂 Not sure if this is even possible as the images are currently linked to products.

 * Use the plugin “Enable Media Replace” to replacing files in the media library.
   I’m not aware, however, of a bulk option for this.

 * Thank you Steve. I checked that one already and unfortunately it does not support
   bulk.
