    Hi,

I have a domain that I started working on 5 years ago which was my main focus up until 2 years ago when I added a WordPress subdomain.

What I'd like to do now is, remove the origional site and replace it with what is at the momment the subdomian.

How do I go about doing this safely with out causing any major issues?

After replacing, you will loose the urls, which have index in google. You might create url redirect to avoid that.

Can you kindly let me know some more details for what you want to do the replacement, so that I may assist you better.

Hi and thanks for your response,

The subdomain is a on wordpress with this url http://blog.pre-pay-as-you-go.co.uk and the main domain is a hand coded site with this address http://www.pre-pay-as-you-go.co.uk.

Idealy I'd like to keep the blog.pre-pay-as-you-go.co.uk and have the origional domain url point to it with all the oprional pages on the main domain redirect to this page "If it's that simple" http://blog.pre-pay-as-you-go.co.uk/%20yiyt

In that case you may install a new WordPress in your main domain and convert the hand coded site

    Hi,

I want to completely remove the hand coded site, to just leave me with the WP one.
