# Replace images correctly

 * 1. How to replace images correctly?
    2. For some reason, the enable Media Replace
   plugin does not work (the plugin only shows the downloaded new image, click the
   replace button and… the old image remains in the Gallery. Click the Edit image
   button and see the new image. Such a glitch. All other plugins are disabled.)

   > maybe when you moved it to a new server), the permissions on your uploaded 
   > files are commonly reset so that WordPress no longer has permissions to change
   > the files. If you don’t know how to do this, contact your web server operator.
