# Replace image in theme

 * I am attempting to replace an image that renders on every page and post of our
   site, including the homepage. Full disclosure, I’m still learning how WordPress
   works so I hope this request for help makes sense.
 * When I inspect the page to locate the image I want to replace, the file path 
   is <themes/sdsu/images/theacademy-logo.jpg> but I can’t seem to follow that path
   on the back end to locate the image file and replace it with the new file.
 * I installed a plug in called Enable Media Replace and replaced the image in the
   directory with the new image, but that did not update the file.
 * Could someone help point me in the right direction? I have inherited a pretty
   cumbersome WordPress page.

 * As that image is part of your theme, you’d need to replace that file in the theme’s
   directory, either via FTP or using your hosting control panel’s file manager 
   app.
