Repeating/multiplying code in the BuddyPress Group description

We are using BuddyPress in our website and every time I add a link to a Group home page and then save it more google analytics code is added to the link.

Here is an example:

This makes editing a list of links very difficult. Why is this happening? Also, does this mean that a single click would be counted multiple times?
