Repeating IMages

When I make a gallery, there are several bugs that I keep getting. First of all when I label the images, the quotation marks and apostrophes turn into slash marks. The second problem is that for some reason the first and last image are repeating. If you will notice on the below website, the picture shown is actually the last one on the list, and repeats at the end.
