Repeater/nesting, will it be pro only?

    Hello!

    I am mostly asking, and not for support.

    I wonder if the repeater idea will only be available for pro?
    I am asking because I want to know if I need to invest time in block lab or not.

    I would prefer to save my energy and time, and if I wasted time to create blocks initially only to see certain details being pro only. (my concern is to make a block that will contain more than one picture, and be flexible about the number as such)

    (reason is that I am on a very limited budget)

    An idea to get “pro” is that we get something of a “share block” (block exchange) where we could upload our own blocks and if it gets popular, one could get elevated to pro status?

    Of course I see this need a lot of coding on your part plus the issue of content being “safe”, but maybe in the future?

    Hi @funnybunnyhelena – thanks for reaching out!

    I can confirm that we’re currently considering the Repeater field as a Pro only feature. If you’d like, you can work-around the Repeater field in the Free version of Block Lab simply by creating multiple additional fields.

    The idea of a Pro marketplace is very interesting, and it’s definitely something that’s crossed out minds. For now, we’ll wait and see how the WordPress Block repository plays out.

    I had that in thought, but then it would be static number and not dynamic (editor side) number?

    I also realized that when I after posting my last post went to read about news on wordpress (not something I do often!) and saw their ideas about blocks, future eventual ideas. So maybe better wait. I will use the free things meanwhile.

    For pro or commercial product support please contact the author directly on their site. This includes any pre-sales topics as well.

    As the author is aware, commercial products are not supported in these forums. I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.
