# Repair Database Failes

 * wp_options: Table is marked as crashed and last repair failed
 * CAn some please assist me with resolving this issue. My site will not load because
   it cannot connect to the database. thank you.

 * First deactivate **all** plugins & switch to the default theme to rule out any
   theme-specific problems. Then, using Phpmyadmin (or whatever MySQL management
   tool your host provides), try repairing that table again.

 * is this on shared hosting or on a VPS?
 * If shared, try using phpmyadmin to repair the table. If on a vps, shut down apache/
   http and use mysqlcheck from the command line to repair it.
