# Repair Database Error Message

 * I ran the wp-admin/maint/repair.php and got the following message:
 * Some database problems could not be repaired. Please copy-and-paste the following
   list of errors to the WordPress support forums to get additional assistance.
 * wp_users: 1 client is using or hasn’t closed the table properly
    wp_usermeta:
   4 clients are using or haven’t closed the table properly wp_posts: 8 clients 
   are using or haven’t closed the table properly wp_comments: 8 clients are using
   or haven’t closed the table properly wp_options: Table is marked as crashed wp_postmeta:
   4 clients are using or haven’t closed the table properly wp_commentmeta: 11 clients
   are using or haven’t closed the table properly
 * Does anyone know how to correct this?

 * – do have good backup of your DB? You may try restoring from that backup.
    – 
   Or, ask your hosting provider if they have a backup of your site. Ask them to
   restore it to that backup.

 * I would perhaps just update your wordpress installation manually by putting the
   latest files and not the wp-config.
 * Once done, just make sure your wpconfig file has the right settings to it.

 * I was able to fix it by running Home >> SQL Services >> Repair a MySQL Database
   within WHM/cPanel of my VPS server.
