    Hi,

As clear from the topic, the icon is not showing in the back-end. Currently using WC 5.9 and I enabled the setting in the WC settings menu.

    Thanks.

    Hi @oempa,

the “Reorder” button is not visible in der WooCommerce Backend only visible in the “My Account” area for the customer. Or you mean that the little action icon in the order list are not showing up if a customer place a Reorder? Thanks for your feedback.

    Hi Ulf,

Have a look to the image below. In the actions column I’m missing the reorder button.

    Hi @oempa,

the “Reorder” button is visible in der WooCommerce Backend if a customer reorder a order (Status “completed”) – it is not visible if a customer place a order the first time. Or is the order in the screenshot/image a “Reorder” of a completed order from that customer? Thanks for your feedback.

    Hi Ulf,

Thanks for your reply. Also with status completed (afgerond), the button is not visible.

    Hi @oempa,

I hope I didn’t express myself wrong – the action button is displayed only when a customer places a reorder of a previously ordered order. Reordering is possible only when the order is in the “completed” status.

Example: Customer A orders a product A on 10.01.2022. You (Shop Manager) process this order and deliver it. The order is therefore completed. You do not see an action icon on this order in the WooCommerce backend.
This order is also visible for the customer in his customer account (My Account). From there, he can also trigger a reorder. If customer A orders the order from 10.01.2022 again (with the same product) this order would have the action icon in the WooCommerce backend. So you can see that it is a reorder and also from which one.

I hope this makes it clearer. Thank you very much for your feedback.

Ahh. Ok. The reorder can only be initiated by the customer. Only then the reorder icon becomes visible

    Thanks for clearing this up.

    Hi @oempa,

    thanks. Best regards, Poly-res Team

Thank you for this thread. I see now that the customer must initiate the reorder. I would like to request a feature that will allow the admin to initiate a reorder on behalf of the customer. Actually, I just need to populate the customer’s contact information on a new order. I can add the product myself. Currently, I need to retype the customer information when a previous customer calls and wants to place a new order. The payment is arranged separately via the link or offline. Some of our customers are not web savvy.
If this is possible, please contact me via email. I can make a donation for this feature. Thank you.

    Excellent idea!
