# Render Images Sizes

 * Hi,
 * When I add a row of images to a page they seem to render at different sizes, 
   is there a way to overcome this?

 * Hi,
    The reason is that by default images are “soft cropped”, meaning that result
   respects original aspect ratios. If original images are not the same size, final
   result will vary (e.g. same width, different height). You can create new custom-
   image-size with “hard crop” and the image will be exactly the size you specify.
