Renamed and bulk edit tags

    I am getting some blogs off of categories and into tags. One side effect is things like Vacations and vacation –
    Anyone able to suggest an easy way to rename all existing Vacations to vacation and delete the then unused tag Vacations?

    Try the Tag Managing Thing:
    http://www.neato.co.nz/wordpress-things/tag-managing-thing/

    It will let you combine tags and rename them and such. The merge function will do what you want.

    Basically, you would select “vacation” and then merge “Vacations” into it.

    Thanks for the link Otto42 – this looks promising, but when activated and I go to Manage -> Tags, clicking on any tag causes an Error on page and Object doesn’t support this property or method

    I’m looking over the comments on the plugin home page for any suggestions.

    Using the plugin now on firefox but not able to get it working on IE7. Guess I’ll put up with it for a few minutes, do my changes then uninstall it.
