Rename all – poor UX in Pending tab

    Dear author,

    if you are in the Pending tab and click “Rename All” you might think that the plugin will rename all entries in the Pending tab, but, unfortunately, it seems that it starts renaming everything. This seems counterintuitive and can lead to unwanted surprises.

    A better name for the button might be “Rename Library” or something similar.

    Hi,

    When you click on that button, you also get a popup, which states:

    You are about to rename all your (unlocked) files
    Renaming files is a dangerous operation. Please make sure you made a backup or your entire WordPress install. Should we start?

    So I feel like it’s quite clear to me 🙂 And Rename All means really to Rename All. We always Rename Library, so that wouldn’t really be clearer.

    But maybe some other users will come to this discussion and let us know what they think too 🙂 I welcome all ideas.

    Hi,

    yes, but you could also understand that this as “You are about to rename all your (unlocked) files in the current tab”. Maybe the title of that popup could be changed to “You are about to rename all your (unlocked) files in the Library”
