Removing/disabling widget javascript?

    Hi. I’m trying to optimize my site. Whenever I do a speed test there is one file that takes longer than anything else. It is this file:

    http://s7.addthis.com/js/300/addthis_widget.js

    Is this this js file necessary to run the plugin? (I don’t even use the sidebar widget, just on my posts directly.) Is there a way I can disable or remove this so it speeds up my site?

    And just to reiterate, I use a lot of plugins. It’s a very full-featured site, and this one single file almost doubles the page load time.
