Removing Zoom effect from Featured Pages on Home Page

Hello all!

I tried the following snippet in my Custom CSS:
.home .round-div {border-color: transparent;}

Like so:

.page-id-2299 .entry-title.format-icon {display: none;}
.page h1.format-icon:before {content: none;}
.entry-meta {display: none;}
.home .round-div {border-color: transparent;}

The first three snippets work perfectly and the last one to remove the zoom effect does not. Is it because I am using the FPU plugin – is the code for the standard FP that comes with the theme? How can I amend it to work with the FPU plugin if that is the problem?
