 * Thought I was able to resolve many of the issues I had using this informative
   forum, the one I have not been able to, removing the …/wp from my web address!
 * Could someone please help me with a step for step, lamen’s terms of getting my
   website clean and free of any /WP ..

 * If you want to remove WP completely from your website, then just delete the folders
   where you have installed WP and also, delete the Database you created to run 
   the WP site.
 * This makes it absolutely certain that you won’t have any traces of WP on your
   site. Your site will breakdown but there won’t be any sign of WP in it.

 * so the issue that stands.
    the website is complete .. the address being [http://www.site.com/wp](http://www.site.com/wp)
 * i want to get rid of the /wp of this ..
    simple process but have found it painstakingly

 * I am having exactly the same issue and it’s driving me barmy.
 * Thanks for that link Krishna, but the instructions are gibberish to me – way 
   too advanced.
