# Removing WP Default Author Box

 * I’m using the StarBox, thank you. When I enable it, how do I disable the default
   WP author box. I get both author boxes on my site. How do I remove the default
   one. Yours is sooooo much better. Screenshot:

 * Depends on a theme. If you can tell me the div class or point me to the post 
   I will get the WP author box and hide it when the starbox is loaded.

   and the simple themes, [http://www.simplethemes.com/](http://www.simplethemes.com/),

 * Any other way to this except to get them removed theme by theme and writer you
   here about each one of them?

 * I’m using 2011 theme with the same problem. I will be switching to 2014 theme
   in the near future but would like to disable the default WP Author Box in both
   themes.
