Support » Themes and Templates » Removing white space around header – The Bootstrap 1.1.4

  • Hello,

    Just playing around with the coding to add a banner instead of the generic text. However, I can’t seem to remove the white space or ‘padding’ around the header image.

    Can anyone help me?

    Website: http://www.howdoesoneblog.com

    CSS:

    /* =Classes
    ————————————————————– */

    .assistive-text {
    clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);
    position: absolute !important;
    }

    .container {
    margin-top: 20px;
    }

    /* =Page
    ————————————————————– */

    #page {
    background-color: #FFFFFF;
    padding: 20px;
    }

    .page-header {
    margin: 0 0 18px;
    }

    Header.php:

    <body <?php body_class(); ?>>
    <div class=”container”>
    <div id=”page” class=”hfeed row”>
    <header id=”branding” role=”banner” class=”span12″>

    <img src=”http://www.howdoesoneblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/howdoesoneblog-logo2.png” style=”width: {$width}px; height: {$height}px” />

    <nav id=”access” role=”navigation”>
    <h3 class=”assistive-text”><?php _e( ‘Main menu’, ‘the-bootstrap’ ); ?></h3>
