# Removing website from heading

 * Hi,
 * I need help to remvove my website URL from the header on my site. I thought it
   was something in my Astra Pro set-up but it’s not.
 * It hasn’t always been there but it appeared one day and I have no idea how.
 * Please help.

 * Presumably the text is contained in a file that is used for the output.
 * First, my advice would be to install all pending updates first. For example, 
   you are still running WordPress 5.9.1, 5.9.3 is current. If necessary, the installation
   of the updates already overwrites the guilty file.
 * If that doesn’t help, you would have to search all files of your project for 
   this issue. You should download all files via FTP and scan them on your computer.
   How you connect via FTP depends on your hoster, which you can contact for this.

 * No. Via FTP you access the files of your WordPress installation. In your case,
   that’s probably several hundred files. My guess is that one of these files contains
   this text:
 * `<p>kennethtemple.com`
 * You have to find it in the files and (if you find it) remove it.
 * If you have no experience with FTP or file handling in this context, you could
   also try to contact your hoster and ask them for support.
