Like others, I don’t really want the “tracking” URL suffix on my site. Telemo.co.uk. Previous answers have said “To get rid of the url suffix, just uncheck the option ‘address bar shares’ in the advanced menu, of AddThis settings”.

My problem is I can’t find AddThis settings.

I don’t know that I want tracking on, I just want people to see a “pretty” URL for the main page.

I am also just a “blogger” not an IT person so the simplest possible terminology in the answer please!

I recommend asking at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/addthis so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.

Hi did you get the solution to your problem?… Even i am facing similar issue.

Appreciate your quick response. I have not installed “addthis” plugin in my website. Just want to confirm if the above steps would be applicable in that case. Please comment. Thank you.

Its resolved. I have installed woocommerce plugin. The author responded to my query that “You’ve enabled ‘geolocation with static cache support’. Don’t set that option if you don’t want the ‘v’.”. I disabled the option and there is no URL suffix now.
