Hi – my apologies if this is already a resolved issue – maybe someone can point out where it is as I can’t find it in the forums so I don’t waste anyone’s time. My website is http://www.sherinemansour.com

I am working with child theme of TwentyEleven and am using the Home page as my landing page for my website.

    1. I would like to remove the word “uncategorized” from the bottom of the home page (I figured out how to remove the date but not this).

    2. Is there anyway to make the info on the front page not “clickable” to take me to the post’s full page? I couldn’t figure out how to write my content on the “home page” so I created a post for it instead – maybe this isn’t the right solution. Would love some help! Thanks!

  • You are using home page as post page.
If you want to use Home as static page then you need to create a Home page add content and publish and then create blank blog page name it what ever you want and publish then click on Settings and Reading and select static page
    front page select Home
post page select the blank page you created.

Now when ever you post a article it will go in that blank page you created.
