removing the white space above header

    Hello,

    I am using one of the default themes in wordpress and I really want to remove the top space above the header and I’ve been trying for hours in the css file to do it but with no result.

    Can someone tell me where I am doing wrong here?

    Do you mean have the white color flush against the top of the page? No gray above the white?

    Yes, sorry had to be a bit more specific, I meant the light grey part above grey margin of the header.
