Hi, I've just installed WordPress, what can I say? It seems very good and easy to install too! I am looking at trying to remove the template completely, leaving me with just the information needed to display things only. This will make it easier for me to edit files, and my blog will be pretty blank as it will be shown in an iframe. As I am quite new to PHP and things such as that, I really don't want to mess anything up. Which is why I would like to know, Has anyone created a blank template they could share with me? Thanks a lot and sorry if this has been asked before, forgive me! I'm new!

use the "classic" theme - it's as barebones as you probably need. you can get simple than if you need it.

Add /wp.php at the end of your blog's address and you'll see a theme-less version of your blog.

I believe you are asking how to design a "theme" from scratch. There are a lot of articles about doing that.

My recommendation is to go through the various themes available and find one you like the look (but maybe not the colors) and then tweak that. If you are not familiar with this process, it can be long, frustrating, and tedious to do it totally from scratch.

Lots of information - it's not an easy task, but the sandbox article will help you strip things to the bone if that is your true intend and you have a martyr complex. ;-)
