    I've been working on a website and have been racking my brain on a certain aspect

    The site is closed to the public due to maintenance at the moment but I have linked a picture of the issue at hand Unconditioned Roots Screenshot

    My client wants the powered by WordPress part at the bottom removed (the whole line), I have looked through all the files but still haven't been able to find the line to remove, can someone help with this?

    Thank you

    Hey CamBYA
    Open the (Themes -> Editor) footer.php and remove the relevant text. Then it should look fine.

    Btw it's recommended that you create a child theme and edit the footer.php in the child theme as changes you make would disappear if the user makes an update to the theme.

    Please first backup your full project and after open you this file and change or remove this text.

    File path : wp-content/themes/yourtheme/footer.php

    I have done both of these things, my problem is when I go into the footer.php file all I see is -

    <?php do_action('sidebar_right') ?>
                </div> <!-- .row-fluid -->
            </div> <!-- #container -->
    		<?php do_action( 'bp_after_container' ) ?>
    		<?php do_action( 'bp_before_footer' ) ?>
    		<div id="footer">
    			<?php do_action( 'bp_footer' ) ?>
    		</div><!-- #footer -->
    		<?php do_action( 'bp_after_footer' ) ?>

    there is no relevant text, which is really confusing.
