removing the post date

  • I have tried several plugins and I’m not sure where to find the code in the editor.

I’m still very new to this and I’ve been messing with things and ruining stuff but before I completely messed up the site by deleting footer.php, that was the issue I was having.

Just a heads-up that the best way to make changes to a theme is to use a child theme, so your tweaks won’t be overwritten when updating the theme. Here are some guides in case you haven’t made one before:

Making a child theme keeps all your modified files in a folder outside your parent theme, which means you can’t accidentally harm your theme.

Once your child theme is set up, let me know and I can help you further.

Did you want to remove the date just on single posts, or on the main blog posts page, or everywhere?
