  • @nuonis,

    That setting is immediate. Make sure you have just entered the domain name, there should not be ‘http’ or ‘www’ before it and the end should be present so it needs to end in ‘.com’, ‘.org’, ‘.net’ etc.

    Also, bear in mind this is for Public Subscriber sign ups only, for Registered Users you need to use a plugin like Stop Spammers.

    Thanks for the quick response mattyrob! I do not have the http or www before the domain. I have entered as outlook.com. It’s not working. It seems like the “outlook.com” subscribers are in fact public subscriber spammers. If you have any other suggestions on how to stop such subscriptions, that would be great. Thanks! If not, I understand. I just let me know.

    @nuonis,

    I’ve just added “outlook.com” to the list of barred domains on my site, logged out and then tried subscribing a new email address (test@outlook.com) and I successfully got a message saying that the domain was barred. So, it works fine for me.

    Check that the domain is listed on that page still, you may have missed pressing submit.

    Hi! I was able to successfully test it out myself and it works now! BTW, I most certainly didn’t forget to submit. Not sure what happened, but it works now! Thank you so much for your time and help.

    @sinoun,

    Great! I’m glad it’s working now.
