Not sure what you mean, what theme is this on?
If it appears beneath each post, it’s probably some code in The Loop. After making a back-up of your theme files, Open your theme’s index.php (Main Index Template) and find the reference to “spread” in the code, try deleting that line.

Thanks for you help. I did not find any reference in index.php.
In http://www.freyer.com/blog/ “spread the word” gets added after each post in Semiologic 4.1.
Hopefully someone knows how to remove it..
Thanks,
Riggie
Ah, perhaps you’re running a “sociable” type plugin?
What plugins are you running?

Yes… that’s it. I remove all teh sociable plugins… but the words “spread the word” still remain after each post.
And I have no idea where to remove them.

Have you looked in your theme’s files? Perhaps index.php or single.php?
Make sure you turn off the Sem-Bookmark-Me plugin. Just unchecking all the sites won’t completely disable the functionality.
