Removing site title and description?

    I’m planning to upgrade from my child theme of twenty ten to twenty eleven.

    I love how there is a setting in twenty eleven to hide the site title and description, allowing the banner to dominate the top of the page.

    My question: If the title and description are hidden, can Google still see it for SEO purposes?
