Removing sidebar

  • I can’t get the sidebar to be removed from the home page.

The link to my site is chad-bradley.com

I want the sidebar on the blog page, but not on the home page. When I go into edit pages and select full width, or landing page it is still showing the sidebar. How can I fix it?

    Thanks!

    Hi Kassidi,

Thanks for choosing Modern Estate. We’re working to enhance our Page Template functionality to ensure that they function properly on the Front Page/Blog pages.

For the time being, you could create a child theme for your site, copy the front-page.php template over to your child theme and use the full-width page template instead of the normal page template. You’d also want to remove the call for the primary sidebar to ensure it is not output.

Otherwise, our Front Page Sidebar will appear as full width on the Front Page.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks
