Removing secondary sidebar and filling space with content

  • Hi, I’ve been doing some research on how to change the layout of the oxygen theme to use just two columns, and can’t quite get it to work how I’d like. I tried the following in my CSS editor, but the post content still doesn’t fill to the right margin.

    #side-bar-secondary {
    display: none;
    }

    .featured-wrapper {
    width: 75%;
    }

    .content-wrap {
    width: 75%;
    float: right;
    }

    Can anybody tell me what I’m doing wrong, or how I can get it to work? I’d like to keep the primary sidebar (the one on the left) but use all the space to the right of that for the “Recent” and “More” articles sections.

    The site I’m working on is
    http://69.89.31.161/~heartre1/

    Thank you!
