  • Am I losing my mind? I’ve found numerous answers how to remove search bars from WordPress themes, but none of them seem to match the code in any of the Imbalance 2 php files.

    Just to be clear my level of skill is – if you show me what to do I can add or delete it to get the desired effect – so, novice.

    There’s no mention of it in the header.php, even though it appears to be part of the header. And I looked to put {display:none;} in style.css, but wasn’t sure where to put it as the fixes I found mentioned ‘searchbar’ and ‘searchform’.

    #search { float: right; width: 220px; }
    #header-right { margin: 20px 0 0 10px; }
    #search label, #search input[type=submit] { display: none; }
    #search input[type=text] { width: 200px; padding: 7px 9px; margin: 0; border: 1px solid #dedfe0; background: #fff; font-size: 13px; outline: none; }
    #page_search input[type=submit] { display: none; }

    Any thoughts?
