Removing Proudly Powered by WordPress

    I’ve seen this posted many times and thought I’d easily find my answer, but each suggestion I’ve tried doesn’t work. (And many involve deleting code which I don’t feel comfortable doing.)

    Is there something I can add to my custom css to remove the “PROUDLY POWERED BY WORDPRESS | THEME: SELA BY WORDPRESS.COM” text?

    My site is sherryelle.com.
