    Please, please, please can someone help me.

    I have just installed wordpress, I am not good at it, I have paid for hosting etc, and I have been trawling these sites for days now trying to find out how to remove the titles on the top of each page.

    No matter what I try, it simply doesnt work! Please please can someone help me step by step in simple terms how to do this as I feel so desperate that nothing I find on the forums is working!

    the site address is http://www.fredtututraining.co.za

    thank you

    Thank you, I downloaded and installed it onto my site but the titles still show, is there something else I need to do?

    @ miss_p,

    Once you've activated the "Disable Title" plugin, on each Page/Post near the bottom should be four choices on hiding the title on that specific Page/Post. Do you see those options? You have to do this manually per Page/Post, the plugin will not do it automatically.

    thank you, that removed the page title but it also takes away the name in the navigation bar at the top :( I just need the title on each page to be removed but not the names on the navigaton tabs

    Perhaps a different tack using CSS.
    That line of code which deals with the page "title" on the about page is: <h1 class="post-title">About Fred</h1>. (Found it using Firebug, inspect element). For the h1 (heading) class post-element, set the display to none.

    h1 .post-title {
        display: none;

    Add this to a child theme, not to the default theme.

    Im using the responsive child theme and in the Full-width-page (no sidebar) template, the code that has been referred to does not exist. I'm looking to take the title off of the content area on each page on my site.

    Which title text are you talking about? I see the breadcrumbs text (Home > Contact, etc) and I see the custom titles that you've placed as images. Which text do you want to get rid of?

    By the way, replacing text titles with image titles is not great for SEO rankings, in case you are concerned about that...
