I do a lot of work on my iPad. When accessing images in the media library (list/column mode), the image name is displayed as a link, and below that the filename.jpg is dispayed. 99% of these filenames consist of some 50 characters that mean nothing to me, and in a narrow column, they increase the vertical dimension of each row.

A year or two ago I found a neat plugin that would delete or hide these two strings but somewhere back it got deleted.

I’m wondering if anyone can suggest a plugin or other means of cutting down on this excess, either by hiding it or by truncating it.

    Many thanks for any advice!

    Tod
