    How does one remove the hyphens (or en dashes, if that is what they are) that the theme places before and after page titles? Please note that I do not have a problem with words breaking and then hyphenating, as some people do. The problem is that although the page titles on the site’s static page look fine on larger devices, when they are displayed on smaller devices (e.g., iPhone SE) the titles wrap and break at the space before the following hyphen. This then leaves the following hyphen as an orphan on the next line.

    Are the hyphens hard-coded? If so, is there a plugin that will remove them? Barring that, what would be the most efficient CSS code to reduce the title size on small devices.

    Thanks for you help.

    Hi @yscubamike,

    If you’re referring to the dashes before and after the featured-page titles on the homepage, give this a try in your child theme:

    .featured-page .entry-title::before, .featured-page .entry-title::after {
      content: none;
    }

    Let me know how it goes.

    Perfect! Many thanks!
