Removing hyperlink from menu item (8 posts)

    Hi everyone,
    My first time on here!

I have an item on my menu with a drop-down. I want to remove the link from the menu item so that if you click it, it does nothing. I only want the items in the drop down to be clickable. I am assuming this can be done in the coding but is there a GUI way?

    Many thanks

any ideas where I might find the code to edit for this? I checked the css file but on second thoughts wouldn't be there otherwise it would disable the hyper links on all menu items.

If someone with a similar question finds this topic in a search they'd probably like to know what your solution was so can you mention which plugin worked for you please?

Yes of course, I should know better really. Many a time I have been searching for a problem and it is solved with no solution. SO frustrating!

It will not work with a custom menu system
