  • I’d like to remove the header on my homepage using a custom functions file. It seems like a “if is_home” should do the trick but I can’t figure it out.

    Any thoughts?

  • OK …I finally got it. Since I’m using Genesis I just unregistered the function on that page.

    add_action('get_header', 'homepage_remove_header');
    function homepage_remove_header() {
    if (is_page('XX') ) {
    remove_action( 'genesis_header', 'genesis_do_header' );
    }
    }
