Removing "From the Blog" from the bottom main page of site (3 posts)

I am not sure if this is a theme related deal or something that should solely deal with wordpress coding alone, but I am using the Classic Photography theme by Vandelay.
On the bottom of my main page are the words "From the Blog" which I'm assuming is in the style.css coding somewhere? Perhaps?
I have seen a response and way to do this with a much earlier version of wordpress, but I am not finding that those same directions given 3 yrs ago pertain to the coding today.

I would appreciate any tips on this. I'm not a real savvy coder so I'm at a loss.

What I am trying to accomplish is I am trying to keep my Home page static, with only a simple Navigation bar on top with static image below and then nothing else on that main page.

I appreciate your help in advance!

    Thanks so much

For help with CSS, a live site link is required...if we cannot see the site, we cannot see the stylesheet(s), so we cannot suggest changes.

To discover what CSS is output by your theme, use a web inspection tool such as Firebug: http://getfirebug.com/ , Chrome Inspect Element: https://developers.google.com/chrome-developer-tools/ or Internet Explorer 9+ F12 Dev. Tools: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd565627(v=vs.85).aspx#csstool

    There are others.

When editing CSS, use a Child Theme
Custom CSS Plugin, or Theme provided custom CSS option.
Edits to parent themes are lost on theme update.

Thanks Seacoast. Here is a link to the template live demo, it is showing the same at the bottom of the main picture (From the Blog).

I am helping someone with a website right now so I don't really want to make announcements of his site that is not currently live to public.

I did download the Firebug, I am trying to figure it out, thank you for that tip.. I have figured out how to inspect the element, I see the "From the Blog" line in the coding through Firebugs inspector but can not for the life of me find it in any of the files through editor.
Any help is much much appreciated.
