    Hello,

    I’m using wordpress as a hobby and hopefully in the future i can put it online,but for now i’m running it on a wamp server.
    I have some difficulties with removing the floating text that is shown in all four slides. the text is some commercial purposes only it seems, but for me very hard to remove.
    ( Build in Bootstrap element let you do amasing things to youre website) this is just one of the text in the slider. Hopefully someone encounter this problem of removing this text, and have found a way to remove it.

    Thanks in advange

    Hi,

    Did you still need help with this, or is it resolved? I did this yesterday

    May as well post it anyway! Might come in handy for others.

    Go to Appearance > Editor, then choose Header.php on the right column.

    Scroll down until you see <!–BEGIN #widget-carousel–> should be 2/3rds down the page roughly.

    You will see 4 sets of code that control the images and text like this..

    <img src=’http://pictureURL.com/images/1.png>
    <div class=’carousel-caption’>
    <h4>Amazing things to the website – DELETE THIS</h4>

    All you have to do is remove the text in the <h4> tags and it should just show the picture!
