  • Hello,

    I am trying to optimize my web site and so far I managed to fix most issues.

    wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.min.js?ver=3.5.1 this file gets loaded in browsers all the time and I am not exactly sure if I need it in order to get my site rendered properly.

    Tools such as pagespeed advice (Remove unused JavaScript) to get this particular file optimized.

    1- Is it a core file? If I remove it, do I get errors in the browser?

    2- There are many plugins and raw codes in order to unload jQuery Migrate, but there is no plugins nor an article to get jquery.min.js removed. If the answer to the question above is “No”, then can you please suggest me a proper way to remove (unload in frontend) jquery.min.js file.

    Thanks in advance

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    after days of searching, I gave a last shot. adding the code below in theme’s function.php solved the issue and nothing broke in my site.

    function my_jquery_enqueue() {
        wp_deregister_script( 'jquery' );
    add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'my_jquery_enqueue' );

    Thank you dude its really works

    I tried but getting console error

    Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined
    at (index):1116
    (anonymous) @ (index):1116

    Man, was hoping NOT to see that on PI!
