  • Does anyone know how I would go about removing the “Incoming Links”, “WordPress Development Blog” and “Other WordPress News” from my dashboard? I don’t want to have my users see these areas and I never use them anyhow.

Looked all over and found a plugin that works with 2.7. It removes all the WordPress crap from the dashboard (for your registered users), but keeps it for the administrator:

    Get the plugin download at:
    http://www.kpdesign.net/wp-plugins/wp-hide-dashboard/

    Works great for me!

I just looked at this – a quick way is to login as them and then
    1) click on screen options at top right, untick all the boxes you don’t want them to see,
    2) drag the remaining boxes around till you think it looks good

    Logoff, Login again to test.
