    Hey guys,

    I’ve literally ripped my hair out trying to work this out so thought I’d ask here.

    Here’s my website – – what I’d like to do is have the home page so it literally comes up as the slider and nothing else, basically removing the content section below the slider that says ‘Nothing found Ready to publish first post’. Then all the content will be in various links on the top header.

    From my basic understanding it’d be in the Theme Editor in the Content section but I don’t want to start removing things and break it!

    Is there a way to do this? Please help!

    Do not edit the Twenty Fourteen theme. It is the current default WordPress theme and having access to an original, unedited, copy of the theme is vital in many situations. First create a child theme for your changes.

    if you only plan to make formatting adjustments, you can also just work with a ‘custom CSS’ plugin (for example part of Jetpack, or one of );

    in this case you can use CSS to hide the content section;

    .home #primary { display: none; }
    .home #main { background: #000; }
