Removing comments from Recent Posts Footer Widget

Hi everyone,
I want to remove the ‘0 comments’ from the Recent Posts widget in the Footer of my site. I have tried this CSS posted on this forum that was similar but it doesn’t work:

.frontpage-featured-posts .entry-comments, .blog-feed .entry-comments {
    display: none;
}

Does anyone have the CSS to remove it?
