# Removing Comment Section

 * How can I make it so people can’t comment? It’s not going to be that kind of 
   site.

 * to disable comments for all newly published pages and posts, please go to “Settings
   > Discussion” and uncheck there the option “Allow people to post comments on 
   new articles”.
 * To disable comments on the previously published pages and posts, please follow
   [this guide](http://codex.wordpress.org/Comments_in_WordPress#Turning_on_Comments_from_the_Posts_or_Pages_Screen).
