[resolved] Removing cart from header in Mio Theme (7 posts)

    I am using WooCommerce for product cataloging with Mio theme from Splashingpixels. For this I am using a plugin to disable all 'Add To Cart' buttons across the site, so there is no product purchase options.

    This works well, except the cart on the header remains there. Any way I could get rid of this cart?

    Never mind. I had to modify the header.php file.

    Sagar - could you please put a link to the plugin you used to disable Add To Cart?

    Also, what did you do to the header.php file to remove the stuff from the header? I'm using WooCommerce and am searching for solutions to these same two things.

    The plugin I used to disable cart options is this one-

    I can't access my php files right now, but what I did was read the header.php file from top to bottom; there I found some lines of code to display cart. I simply removed those code lines. Do not forget to keep a backup copy of the original file if you do this.
