Removing carousel slider

    I’m having trouble figuring out how to remove the carousel slider from my theme.
    I went into appearance – customize – and turned the carousel settings to 0 posts but it still shows up with 4 posts.
    I’m wondering if there is something I can do in a CSS file to take it off my homepage.

    I’ve asked there but no one responds. I’ve even emailed the theme builders support page directly and no response.
    Anyone have any ideas? I’ve been trying for a few days to figure it out.
