# Removing blog widget

 * Hello,
 * I made a mistake and got rid of a page in the dashboard (the one under the menu
   that you can only see when you click the symbol “Home”). Now, I have the blog
   that I don’t want and I am not able to remove it.
 * I removed the lign **<?php get_sidebar(); ?>** in **index.php** and that didn’t
   do anything.
 * Plus, the site doesn’t scroll anymore (the arrow on the right goes only to the
   blog I don’t want). All I need (even if it’s doesn’t scroll anymore is to remove
   the blog part).
 * I spent hours trying to figure it out, but in vain…

 * Not quite sure which page you’re referring to in the dashboard. If you want a
   different page to be displayed on the homepage of the site you can adjust that
   in Settings->Reading from the left hand menu in the WP admin and choose a page
   as the static page for the Homepage.
